Hey super brains.  I am looking for some programs to clean up my computer.  Spyware, cookies and just evil shitty programs.  Whenever I turn off my computer I get the fun message of blah blah program is still running would you like to shut it down.  And it is always a 75BlhjdSHgf87230957dJSL.exe or something so I know im fucked with keyloggers or god knows what.  I am tired of formatting every 6 months so do you BROS know any good programs to use!?!

your standard free cleaners are

spybot S&D for spyware (which u can get from download.com)
and for ad-aware which u can get from lavasoft.com


also you can go to start>run>type in MSconfig and look at startup for any random bullshit like that and turn it off if it doesnt look like its something you normally use or if the manufacturer doesnt say microsoft corporation for it or something you know u installed

A lot of the smart viruses and Trojan horses today try really hard and prevent you form going to the main anti-virus and "cleanup" sort of product including microsoft own tools. They actually block your access to those sites.

A couple of weeks ago my wife's laptop got totally infected (she must be browsing porn) and I ended up finding a little known program that did most of the clean up and then followed up with Microsoft tools that are available on their site and successfully cleaned everything with the exception of one item i had to get rid of manually.

Name of the product is Exterminate it. Worked pretty well.

I then followed by subscribing to Microsoft's Live Care (I just installed the trial and didn't proceed with a paid subscription but that might something you want to do)

A third product I used is Microsoft Defender

You will have to run these multiple times and reboot in between each cleanup. Also you might have to start your windows in Safe mode with networking enabled.

Hope this helps...and that would 100 Shekels pls, 1 Shekel for the time and work to post here and 99 for the knowledge of what to post.

Like what Cheeze said, Adaware and Spybot,another thing to do is go to add/remove programs and take a look at what you may have accidently installed, things like the stupid google/yahoo toolbars are spywayre city.  Another thing that really slows down your computer is actually by Microsoft.  It's called "Microsoft Live Search," which gets installed on your taskbar.  Also check under Start-Programs-Startup, I would make sure thats clear considering that takes the you wait once you turn on your computer and it loads the OS.  Delete all your cookies damn it!

yea done all of the above.. but I still get that BdjioaRoi57983421040.exe is not responding do you want to shut down anyway... I usuall yjust reformat my computer but I am lazy now..... WTB EZFIX

trojans are worst u can get cause there a backdoor virus that just opens up ur ports so that other viruses can come in and join the party

you can try getting HijackThis and going to a forum like http://www.techsupportforum.com/security-center/hijackthis-log-help/ or http://forums.maddoktor2.com/index.php?showforum=17 and you can post the HijackThis log. What it does is give you the log of everything running and such. You can read tutorials they have on the forums and they can even tell you exactly what to do when they go through your log.
